The Ford Bronco was one of the best off-road SUVs when it was first produced and was a benchmark for the industry for years. 1996 saw the end of the model’s production and it wasn’t until 25 years later that the icon was revived. This 2022 Ford Bronco Big Bend Edition is perfect for those looking to make a statement with its return, and a new set of BRINK B204 Insurgent wheels help push that envelope even further.
The Ford Bronco Big Bend Edition is all that and a bag of chips – well, probably some meaty beef jerky in this case. This 2022 model wears a Carbonized Grey paint and comes with the 2.7-liter EcoBoost V-6 engine. This bad boy churns out a healthy 330 horsepower and 415 lb-ft. of torque, which is more than enough to get the four-door 4×4 going on- or off-road. A 10-speed automatic helps merge efficiency with brawn thanks to its terrain management system for grip in any situation. This Ford Bronco Big Bend Edition also benefits from a new 2.0-inch Rough Country suspension that adds a more confident boost gives the SUV even more road presence.
What makes this SUV really stand out is the new set of BRINK B204 Insurgent wheels. These Y-spoke flow formed wheels have the strength and durability for tough terrain along with a style that is hard to match. The six-Y-spoke BRINK B204 Insurgent wheels have a slight concave and sculptured design that gains complexity throughout the surface of the wheel to create a rugged yet modern aesthetic that fits perfectly with the Ford Bronco.
This 2022 Ford Bronco Big Bend Edition was outfitted with the BRINK B204 Insurgent wheels in a 20 x 9.0 in a +18 offset. A Smoke Machined Titanium finish was chosen that features a gun metal base with brushed accents, finished with a gloss-tinted clearcoat – backed by a 5-year finish warranty. A new set of 35 x 12.50 R20 Cooper Discoverer AT3 XLT tires were chosen for their on-road performance and comfort with their beefy shoulders and durability for hauling and mauling the trails.
For this fitment, the Ford Bronco was modified slightly to accommodate the 35-inch tire size to prevent rubbing. There is a slight poke outside of the fenders, which can add a sense of toughness and power when staring the SUV head-on. The BRINK B204 Insurgent wheels measure 20 x 9.0 in a +18 offset with a Smoke Machined Titanium finish and 35 x 12.50 R20 Cooper Discoverer AT3 XLT tires. The spare tire is accommodated at the rear thanks to a two-piece center cap.
